The Classic 1982 Porsche 911SC Outlaw

We were very fortunate to know about a super clean 1982 Porsche 911SC for sale by another one of our clients. This would form the perfect base for the car that you see today. The client came to The Archive with the vision to build a classic Porsche Outlaw. He was more inclined to follow the standard process of building a race replica of an 80s Porsche with Gulf or Martini decals.  The process was started by sourcing the right base for the build. We were very fortunate to know about a super clean 911SC for sale by another one of our clients. This would form the perfect base for the car that you see today.  Apart from a few small things that needed to be sorted out, the car was mechanically perfect.

When I was like, fourteen or something, I saw a photo of a Lincoln Continental and I was like man, one day I have to have one of those. I just loved the lines of the car. It doesn’t need to be chopped or channelled or anything, it just looks long and slick. How can you not love it, with its suicide back doors and the luxury feel that the car came with? 1966 Jeep Gladiator: The Franken Jeep

This 1966 Jeep Gladiator started life serving in the old South African Defence Force. When the time came for the Gladiator to retire. Martins grandfather Dan bought it at an Army auction for a mere R500. Dan did the first restoration on the Jeep in Klerksdorp, using parts from a 74 Gladiator and a Jeep Wagoneer. He retained the original 3.8 litres straight 6 engine and three-speed manual gearbox.
