185cc Small Block Ford Heads

Mastodon 185cc Small Block Ford aluminum cylinder heads for the 289, 302 and 351W. The 185cc intake runner volume is the sweet spot for street/strip builds — flowing enough air to support up to 500+ horsepower while keeping the velocity needed for crisp throttle response and street manners.

Lightweight aluminum construction sheds substantial weight off the front axle compared to factory cast-iron heads, and improves cooling efficiency. Heart-shaped 60cc combustion chambers with proven swirl/quench characteristics deliver more power and better detonation resistance, even on lower-octane pump gas.
