Mastodon 180-degree thermostat for Chevy LS engines. The 180°F (82°C) opening temperature is the standard street-performance setting — cooler than the factory 195°F thermostat, warm enough for the LS computer to keep open-loop fuel and timing maps from kicking in, and right where most LS tuners want the coolant to live for daily driving.

Designed for the LS housing — fits LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7, and the 4.8/5.3/6.0/6.2 truck variants.
